Clear Ledger Bookkeeping

A complete local business web presence built from scratch

Designed and built a full marketing-ready website for a mock Austin TX bookkeeping firm — from information architecture and content strategy through deployment and Search Console submission. Every decision was intentional: SSR for crawlability, LocalBusiness schema for rich results, keyword-targeted blog content for organic traffic, and a working lead funnel to close the loop.

About

The developer who actually reads the analytics

I came to development through a non-traditional path — years of varied work across different industries that gave me something most developers don't have: a real understanding of what businesses actually need from their web presence. Not just a fast site. A site that brings in customers.

That background pushed me toward the intersection of development and marketing. I got tired of seeing beautifully built sites that ranked for nothing and converted nobody. So I learned both sides — Next.js and React for the build, technical SEO and content strategy for the growth.

The result is the Clear Ledger project — a fully deployed local business site that scored 98 on Performance and 100 on SEO on Lighthouse, passed Google's Rich Results Test, and has a working lead capture funnel from search result to inbox. Built entirely on my own initiative.
